Matthew Churchill
A lifelong aviation enthusiast, Matt grew up in Livermore before moving to San Francisco to pursue a career in teaching. What was supposed to be a few years at San Francisco State turned into 14 — and eventually led to meeting his wife, Arianna. Through a small twist of fate and a lot of her support, he made the leap to commercial aviation. Over the past five years, he has trained across the SF Bay Area, joined the Flying Particles community, earned his CFI, and is now a full-time pilot at ATI flying a Lear 60. When he's not in the air, you'll find him exploring new parks with his son Aiden, playing a rigorous game of paintball in the Santa Cruz Mountains, or adding stamps to his passport.
