BABY BEAN CHURCHILL

Matthew and Arianna are so excited to welcome the newest member of the ChillPIl crew: Baby Bean Churchill! We created this page to keep our friends and family updated on the latest greatest as we embark on first time parenthood during a global pandemic in San Francisco. ORIGIN STORY

Arianna was out on a 17,000 meter row in the San Francisco Bay when she found herself extremely exhausted. She made it back to shore and met Matt and Darya for a celebratory drink at a beautiful house in the Sausalito Hills. Little did they know the exhaustion was from more than just the unseasonably hot heat wave in the Bay Area: Baby Bean was there! Later that day, Matt grabbed a pregnancy test and the rest: is history!

Soon after finding out the wonderful news, Arianna and Matt were fortunate to find a beautiful new apartment in Russian Hill (just above North Beach) - very many thanks to high school friend Jaime for the assist! Matt started to work as many hours as possible and Arianna packed up their little home in the Marina. By early November, they were settled in and starting to nest hardcore. Lesley and Calisa stopped by to paint Little Bean’s room and the nursery started to come together!

As we head into the a new year, we realize how difficult it is to be so far from our friends and family. We love you all and we hope to keep you updated as we continue on this journey together! Please email Arianna if you’d like our new address!
